Who Makes a Good Franchisee?

You don’t need salon experience to be a successful Fantastic Sams franchisee — just good business sense. We’ll provide the support and guidance you need to succeed.

Salon Experience Not Necessary

Fantastic Sams has built a modern salon experience around a business infrastructure that caters to entrepreneurs. We have proven systems in place that we have honed and updated over the years. And here’s the best part: You don’t need hair care experience to be a successful franchisee — you just need a head for business.

Meet Your Franchise Business Coach

Fantastic Sams provides every franchisee with a Franchise Business Coach (FBC), who helps guide franchise owners and their staff to success. The FBC will be a partner in helping you grow your business within the market. We also provide educators to train your stylists.

Once your team is on board with Fantastic Sams techniques and processes, it’s simply a matter of promoting your business within the community and creating an appealing atmosphere that brings customers back time and again. From business support to state-of-the-art products, our franchisees can harness the power of our 40-year-old brand name to foster customer loyalty and drive revenue.

“Manage the Manager”

Our “manage the manager” model gives you the flexibility to run your business according to your needs. Each location you own will have a Designated Salon Manager to handle daily operations. Your Designated Salon Manager will have access to a management certification program that will teach them everything they need to know to run a successful Fantastic Sams.

In addition to your Designated Salon Manager, who will handle day-to-day management of the stylist staff, you will work closely with Fantastic Sams educators, who train new stylists and keep them up-to-date and practiced in delivering the latest cutting and coloring techniques and styles.

“I tell my salon managers that one of the reasons we’ve been so successful is that we have a balance,” says Fort Worth, Texas, franchisee LaRonda Hunter, a former American Airlines accountant. “My stylists come at the business from a technical side, and I come at it from a customer’s side and from having a background in accounting. I feel like I know the level of customer service people want in salons because I’ve been a customer. Between us we’ve got it all covered.”

LaRonda sees the ideal franchisee as a confident decision-maker who is willing to rely on the support offered by the franchise.

Use Your Strengths

“The Fantastic Sams Franchise has satisfied many of my interests. As a licensed Hairstylist/Franchisee I know the importance of education and keeping up with the latest hair trends. Fantastic Sams supports me with knowledgeable educators that are available in my salons to train my staff on all the latest cut and color techniques and soft skills so I can continue to move forward, employ the best stylists and keep my guests happy.” Debbie Penesso, 2 salons in Albany, NY (franchisee since 1998)
