Our Franchise Discovery Process is designed to help you understand the opportunity, get to know our brand, and determine if this is the right fit for you. Here’s what you can expect during the process: 

1. Initial Overview and Pre-qualification Call 

We’ll kick things off with an introductory call where we’ll provide you with an overview of the FS Cut & Color franchise opportunity. During this conversation, we’ll discuss your desired market territory, financial qualifications, and motivations. We’ll also outline the process timeline, so you know what to expect in the coming weeks. 

2. Franchise Questionnaire 

Next, you’ll complete our confidential Franchise Questionnaire. This helps us get to know you better—your background, goals, and how well your vision aligns with the FS Cut & Color brand. It’s an essential step to ensure we’re both on the same page. 

3. Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) Review 

We’ll send you our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), which is a critical resource for understanding the ins and outs of our franchise offering. You’ll want to review this document carefully, either independently or with the assistance of your attorney. 

4. FDD Review Call 

After you’ve had a chance to review the FDD, we’ll set up a call where you can ask any questions that came up during your review. Our Development Directors will be there to guide you through the document and make sure you fully understand the details of the franchise opportunity. 

5. Franchisee Validation 

At this stage, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with existing FS Cut & Color franchisees. This is your chance to hear directly from others who’ve gone through the process and learn about their experiences running a FS Cut & Color salon. 

6. Discovery Day 

During Discovery Day, you’ll meet the corporate team and get a closer look at what being a franchisee with FS Cut & Color entails. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions and get a deeper understanding of how we support our franchisees every step of the way. 

7. Leadership Call 

You’ll also have a one-on-one conversation with a member of our leadership team. This is your chance to not only ask more specific questions but also get to know the people behind the brand. 

8. Final Approval and Franchise Agreement Signing 

Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll conduct a background check and prepare the final documents for review. After everything is in place, you’ll sign your Franchise Agreement and officially join the FS Cut & Color family. 

9. New Owner Onboarding 

Now, the fun begins! Our team will help you choose the best site for your salon. You and your designated team will undergo comprehensive training to cover everything from salon operations to guest service protocol. We’ll ensure you’re fully prepared for success. 

10. Grand Opening! 

Within about 6-7 months of signing the Franchise Agreement, you’ll be ready to open your very own FS Cut & Color salon. We’ll be there to help you every step of the way to ensure a smooth and successful launch!
