10 Steps to Your Grand Opening

Ready to get started? Read on for a a step-by-step plan description of what to expect, from welcoming you to the franchise to your first store’s grand opening.

Initial Overview and Pre-qualification Call

We’ll conduct an introductory call to give you an overview of the franchise offering, as well as discuss your desired market territory, financial qualifications and motivation. We’ll agree to a process timeline during this call.

Questionnaire

You’ll be asked to complete our confidential Franchise Questionnaire, which helps us gain insight into your background, goals, and overall profile as a potential franchisee. This information allows us to better understand how you align with our franchise opportunity.

Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)

We will provide you with a copy of our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for you to review independently or with your attorney. This important document outlines the details of the Fantastic Sams franchise offering and should be thoroughly and carefully reviewed.

FDD Review

You will come to this call prepared with any questions that surfaced while reviewing the FS Cut & Color FDD. Our Development Directors are ready to help you fully understand the franchise opportunity, ensuring you feel confident and informed in your decision to move forward.

Franchisee Validation

You will have an opportunity to call, email or visit existing FS Cut & Color franchise owners to gain a better understanding of what it’s like to be a franchisee in our system.

Leadership Call

You’ll have a one-on-one conversation with a member of our Leadership team, giving you the opportunity to get to know them just as much as they’ll be getting to know you.

Discovery Day

During this call with the corporate team, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of your role as a franchise owner, the support provided by the franchisor, and your specific responsibilities. It is designed for you to ask any questions and get clarity on how we will support you on your franchise journey.

Final Approval and Franchise Agreement Signing

We will conduct a background check and prepare the final documents for you and your legal representative to review before signing. We will set a signing date, and at the scheduled time you will sign your Franchise Agreement.

New Owner On-boarding

Our experts can help you choose the best possible site for your FS Cut & Color by providing access to site-selection software. You and your designated manager or managers will attend New Owner Training to learn FS Cut & Color Salon Fundamentals, which cover everything from back-office processes to guest service protocol.

Grand Opening!

You can expect to open your FS Cut & Color franchise approximately 6-7mo (28 weeks) from signing your Franchise Agreement!
